Francisco Soriano born in a modest Spanish family in 1986, started with this “weight thing” at the age of 13. He used to stand at a gym’s door to watch the big guys pass by until he had the chance to do it himself until the day his father gave him some money as a Christmas present and he could afford the gym’s membership and since then started to work hard to built his body become a “strong guy”. In 2004 he had to deal with his school schedule and the hard competition dieting and finally in June of that year he does his first bodybuilding show at Teatro Obispo in Madrid, the A.E.F.A Mr. Olympia. In his debut he got his first place and was named “El  Junior” and was compared with the one and only Arnold, he’s also got the same birthmark on the same face’s side, body structure which resembled The Oalk’s. This Championship allowed him to do the N.A.B.B.A. Jr. World Championship at Heraklion, Greece. His first international show and got placed 3rd. He wasn’t happy at all, and in October goes to the Spanish Championships and Mr. Universe placing 1st and 3rd respectively.  Fran goes back to Zaragoza to continue his school and training until  2006, when he joins the Spanish Army with nothing but bodybuilding in his mind, and all he wanted was to go to Madrid, earn just enough money for housing and afford a membership to Francisco del Yerro’s gym, where he was told the Spanish Bodybuilding elite trained. At the end of the year Francisco quits the Army and goes back to Zaragoza to prepare for the 2007 competitions, his last year as a junior. In October 2007, Francisco wins the Copa de España in his last shot. In Russia he also wins his category at the World Championship. Back in Spain he prepares for the A.E.F. Spanish Championship at Illescas and gets another first place, which qualifies him to the N.A.B.B.A. Mr. Universe in Alicante, where he made history by being the first athlete in his class to win two World Championships in the same year.

Once 2007 was over, he decided to take some time off to grow and move to the next class, which is the middle class and have a chance to win it. During 2008 Fran did some modeling, like some I did for Musclegallery.com in Gerona.

 

In 2009 Fran decided to go back to competing and worked hard to do his best. Economic times have been hard all around the world, and the situation got really bad, and lost his job in the middle of the preparation, but he decided to go until the end and did the Spanish Championship and got 3rd place and the opportunity to participate in the W.A.B.B.A World Championship at Budapest, Hungary placing 7th.  After all that I got a call form a friend who contacted to Irvin Gelb and went to L.A. to compete at the Excalibur and to shoot some videos and potos for Musclegallery, Muscular Development, Musclemag and Muscle&Fintess. He got the opportunity to train at the Mecca: “Gold’s Gym in Venice, where the Great Arnold once. was. He wasn’t able to do the show, but had a great experience in California.
